FDA Has No Restrictions On Formaldehyde Content In Hair Straightening Product
New Brazilian hair straightening, or “Escova Progressiva” in Portuguese, contains formaldehyde, a toxic substance that can cause a number of health problems. However, the Food and Drug Administration still has no regulations about it.
